Swedish mobile and social platform games development studio OMI Gaming has received approval from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) to operate under a Core Service Provider Associate Certificate.
The approval will enable OMI Gaming to provide its mobile and social games to Alderney-based online gaming operators as well as to operators around the globe that are licensed in reputable jurisdictions.
Welcoming the company to the island, AGCC spokesperson Robin Le Prevost, commented: "Alderney is automatically associated with the leading and largest online operators and platform providers but we have always been enthusiastic about the small quality start-ups and OMI gaming is just such a start-up. It is interesting but by no means unique that they wanted their first accreditation to come from Alderney as it demonstrates to all that they aspire to the very high standards, which will be of enormous help and value to them as they build their business."
Welcoming receipt of the Certificate, Andre Orefjard of OMI Gaming said: "We are delighted to have been approved by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, it is one of the most reputable jurisdictions in the world. We are dedicated to meet Alderney's rigid standards to be able to provide the highest quality mobile and social services to our clients."
