The groundbreaking ceremony for the slot hall, which will also be branded under the Dreamworld name, follows EGA’s earlier announcement that it would launch its Dreamworld Casino in Pailin province today.

Dreamworld is opening is the first phase of a US$2.5 million casino project expected to comprise 1,100 square metres of gaming space, 30 game tables and 40 slot machines near the Thailand-Cambodia border, the Post reported on Monday.

The casino is to be Dreamworld’s first such development project to open, and it expects to draw “mass market and VIP premium players visiting from surrounding areas”, according to a statement.
