Barton Reiterates Need to Pass Online Poker Bill This Term
As I have said many times, the tens of millions of dollars from Indian Country and Commercial casino company lobbying is the issue here. Indian Country needs something to show they will have some tax relief relative to others and the commercial companies need something that will allow them a running start relative to foreign and more agile e-commerce company competition.
What most of these folks miss, unfortunately, is that they underestimate he gold mine that online gambling will be....get the poker thing going and then the rest of gaming will move ahead and the tax money is well over 18 billion a year within 5 years
